Welcome to Springs of Love. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Springs of Love website, Learning Portal, online courses, subscriptions, downloadable resources, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of Our Services

Springs of Love provides educational, faith-based, and informational resources related to foster care, adoption, kinship care, family support, and related ministries. Our content is intended for personal, educational, and ministry enrichment purposes.

2. Intellectual Property

All content available through our Services, including but not limited to videos, courses, lesson materials, workbooks, discussion guides, articles, graphics, logos, photographs, downloadable resources, training materials, leader guides, and website content, is owned by Springs of Love or used with permission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, users may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our content;
  • Upload or share our content on other websites, platforms, or social media;
  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary markings; or
  • Use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

3. Personal Use License

Subject to these Terms, Springs of Love grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not transfer ownership of any content or materials.

4. Learning Portal and Course Access

Registration, subscription, or purchase of access to any Springs of Love Learning Portal content provides access only to the individual registrant or, where specifically designated, one married couple participating together.

Access credentials may not be shared with other individuals, families, groups, organizations, ministries, or parishes.

Users may not:

  • Share login credentials;
  • Provide portal access to others;
  • Record, download, copy, or redistribute course content except where expressly permitted;
  • Use course materials outside the scope of their registration; or
  • Allow unregistered participants to access paid or restricted content.

Springs of Love reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if account sharing or unauthorized use is suspected.

4A. Artificial Intelligence and Content Protection

To protect the integrity of Springs of Love’s educational content and intellectual property, users may not upload, submit, reproduce, or use any Springs of Love materials for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, developing, testing, or improving artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, or similar technologies.

Users may not create AI-generated summaries, derivative courses, facilitator guides, training materials, or substantially similar content based on Springs of Love materials for distribution, publication, commercial use, or organizational use without prior written permission.

Limited personal note-taking or personal study use of AI tools is permitted, provided that Springs of Love content is not redistributed, republished, or used to create substitute resources.

4B. Recording and Distribution of Sessions

Unless expressly authorized by Springs of Love, participants may not record, photograph, screenshot, livestream, capture, download, or otherwise reproduce any live or virtual sessions, small-group discussions, coaching sessions, webinars, workshops, or training events offered through the Services.

Any recordings or materials provided by Springs of Love remain the property of Springs of Love and may not be copied, distributed, posted online, or shared with others without written permission.

4C. Community Confidentiality and Respect

Many Springs of Love programs involve personal discussions regarding fostering, adoption, kinship care, family relationships, trauma, faith journeys, and other sensitive topics.

Participants agree to respect the privacy and dignity of others by maintaining the confidentiality of personal information, stories, experiences, prayer intentions, and discussion content shared within groups, courses, coaching sessions, or community forums.

Participants may not disclose identifying information about another participant, share another participant’s story without permission, or distribute private group discussions outside the context of the program.

While Springs of Love encourages confidentiality and respectful participation, it cannot guarantee that all participants will maintain confidentiality. Participants are encouraged to exercise discretion when sharing personal information.

Springs of Love reserves the right to remove participants whose conduct undermines the safety, privacy, or respectful nature of the community.

5. Building Belonging and Called to Connect

Building Belonging and Called to Connect videos, workbooks, discussion guides, leader materials, facilitator resources, training content, and all related online portal materials are the property of Springs of Love.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, participants may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, teach, publish, publicly display, or share Building Belonging or Called to Connect materials;
  • Use Building Belonging or Called to Connect materials to lead, organize, facilitate, or promote a separate group, class, retreat, workshop, parish program, or training;
  • Create derivative programs based substantially on Building Belonging or Called to Connect content; or
  • Share leader materials with individuals who are not authorized by Springs of Love.

Separate facilitator, parish, diocesan, or organizational licenses may be available through written agreement with Springs of Love.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
  • Use the Services in a manner that infringes upon the rights of others; or
  • Use the Services to transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources. Springs of Love is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Disclaimer

The Services and all content are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

While Springs of Love strives to provide accurate and helpful information, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any content for a particular purpose.

Nothing contained in our Services should be considered legal, medical, mental health, financial, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Springs of Love, its directors, employees, volunteers, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Services.

10. Termination of Access

Springs of Love may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any portion of the Services at its sole discretion if a user violates these Terms or uses the Services in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

Termination may occur without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

Springs of Love may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
