Caring for the orphan is a demand of the Gospel,
and the Church is the solution!

Each year, over 250,000 children enter the U.S. child welfare system and over 23,000 children age out of foster care where they are at risk of human trafficking, homelessness, unplanned pregnancy, and more. There is a shortage of good families stepping up to care for these vulnerable children and a lack of support for the families who are fostering. While the situation may seem dire, it is not insurmountable if we work together as individuals, families and parishes.

The Office of Marriage and Family in the Diocese of Columbus, in partnership with Springs of Love, invites you to learn more about this crisis, and the many ways you can help. Join us for dinner and an evening of prayer, talks, and fellowship to learn about the many ways we can support children in care, their families, and the foster families who step into the gap to provide a loving home for them. Even if you are not able to foster at this time, there are many other ways to help! RSVP now, and we’ll see you on May 18!
