Welcome, Diocese of Owensboro! We’re so glad you’re here. Springs of Love is a national Catholic ministry devoted to raising up and supporting foster and adoptive families. Whether you’re considering opening your home or looking for ways to support foster and adoptive families, there’s a place for you in this mission. Join us in saying “yes” to caring for vulnerable children!
Springs of Love Gathering
Foster, adoptive, kinship, and discerning families are invited to join us for a Springs of Love Gathering on November 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bowling Green. The day will begin at 9am and conclude by 1:45, and feature presentations by Father Chris Kight, Springs of Love founder Kimberly Henkel, and Dr. Chad Folk, adoptive father and parishioner at St. Joseph Parish.

Springs of Love Gathering 2025
Some photos from our Springs of Love family event in Owensboro in fall 2025. We enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Mass by Father Kight, a delicious meal served by the Knights of Columbus, and games and bouncy castles for the kids!
